Any handymen? Screws in a tight space

Post by CremeDeLaCreme » Mon Mar 16, 2015 8:10 pm

Hi fellow fishos!

I have a window casement and need to remove the window winder operator.

There are 6 screws I can't seem to get to. There's only a small 2.5cm gap as pictured.

Any ideas,
Cheers

The window casement is about 15 years old, I presume they put the frame in after the window operator was installed.

Can u replace the casement or u don't wanna go down that route? May be the only option..

I'd say look at the installation n work backwards which explains the casement being made later, dilly of a pickle!!

Theyre the type of situations where spanners suddenly have wings.

Looks like you might be doing abit of disassembling. You could possibly try a flatblade on an angle and a hammer and lightly tap to see if they free up and you can get some rotation going.
IF that works, dont ask me how to get them back in....

You can get ratchet screwdrivers that might fit in a small gap
