I don't know about that. The author is basically saying that the coach overreacted after the final against Carlton and went too defensive so it seems like 'sack Hardwick and most of the coaching staff' would fix a lot of the problems in a few years.

Would like to have your enthusiasm but reality is our list is pretty average. The next five years you have GWS and GC maturing with the cream of the crops as well as the other 15 teams who are dominating or is rebuilding and that's our dilemma .. are are static whilst everyone else is moving ahead of us .. soon we will be left behind .. At least the Tigers have put away the steak knives in recent time!!!
