Word of warning to all with regards to having expensive stuff in your garage, make sure your insurance cover actually covers your garage. I had my tools pinched out of my garage a couple of years ago and when I rang up to make a claim under our house and contents, was nicely informed that garage area was seperate to the house and only covered up to $2000. Upping the cover didn't cost too much, but was an expensive lesson learned.

Sorry to hear about your bad news Nude, that sense of being violated is probably worse than losing the gear. Sounds like someone knew exactly what they were after. I always worry about what I post on the internet...it's scary what people can find out about you through social media. (Facebook is a shocker, I'm always telling my wife not to post stuff from holidays until we get home, make sure you cant see the car rego etc)

I feel your pain, this same thing happened to me 20 odd years ago living in a suburb in the west, Back then I was using penns and they cleaned me out.
Insurance did pay out eventually but I was reluctant to leave my gear in the shed (they broke into the house too and took everything) so I made the decision to get a dog...4 months later it happened again only they didnt get into the shed this time. The snakes wait for insurance to pay up and then hit you again..Take it from me, cops wont be any assistance

Sorry to hear this nude.
Yes watch out they may hit you again when insurance has gone through.
I'm from south africa where crime is part of life and you could almost bet on them returning.
My house got hit twice and neighbour shot in the gut in a hijacking which prompted me to leave.
Things are much better here in Australia but one wonders for how long.
