Outboard insurance

Would insurance cover a blown motor due to overheating from blockage?

No does not cover any motor damages,they only cover theft,loss or fire damage,this is wear and tear issues that you hav your motor blown. :doh1:

This. Any mechanical problems come under warranty, and if that's run out then it's tough titties. Probably not what you wanted to hear

If you are stil in warranty yes can cover it but if expired then bad luck ..After expired and you hav suck something insurance wont cover it,this cause damage by you.

Read your PDS from your insurance company, if u can prove it they will fix it

In 99% of insurance policies I've seen, it doesn't matter if it was a foreign object or not. Destroying the motor by hitting something is a different matter in most cases
