tinny mods

Post by robbo101 » Sun Apr 06, 2014 6:35 am

Hi everyone, I have just purchased my first tinny this week and was wondering on what people think are the best mods/upgrades to do to it to make it more user friendly.
Its a second hand 3.8m stacer with a 25 merc.
I think a false floor will be the first thing to go in.
Any other suggestions will be appreciated
Thanks.

There's lot's of thing's you can do to customise a tinny, and a lot of it comes down to personal choice and what type of fishing you want to do with it.A floor is a good start.A couple of comfy seats is a must if you are going to be sitting in it for hour's on end.A bimini is also good on hot days to keep the sun off.

Decent rod holders and storage. And stubbie holders. As drew said it depends on where and what you fish.

I can't believe Drew left out the stubbie holders :icon_lolz: cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Just be carefully when putting a false floor in,if it's to high it might be easy to fall out of boat.i put a Bimini cover on mine , good for shade, but makes the boat flighty when travelling at high speed.
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish, catch a fish
