based on his post, they are "going to" do the light installations then he "saw the picture"..... meaning, it's not the boat they are going to work on.

Why would it be a pity? :dontknow

Looks good , although imo I think I would prefer just white light around the inside of the hull, to see good .
I had blue interior lights throughout an xr8 car I owned a few years back. It was good at first, being something different at the time, but it becomes a bit 'gloomy', made me feel tired/groggy after a while. Nothing beats a bright white lit up deck of a night when your trying to see what your doing clearly, and to keep you awake.

Cheers , Rick.

Your idea sounds great, but i have heard that blue color attracted fishes.UV lights and green lights need to figure out.
I made my own submersible UV light system on a block of acrylic. I used it in Brighton a few years ago just to test it and it worked well. Creatures, big and small were concentrated on my area. I have never seen so many toadies in my life.  but there were these silver and white shadows/flashes darting in and out close to the edge of the krill and bait fish soup.
Wow, that is so cool.Creative idea for what you have done.
:Boxing:

Think ill have to chuck some strips of LED's around the yak and maybe some UV's underneath :) how much did the strips set you back?
