True marine carpet the fibers are made from plastic, they do no abosrb water blood ect.

With a high pressure water sprayer it really does only take about 1 minute to wash it down.

If you have dried on bait ect just wet it down leave it to sit for a bit to soften and hose it off.

Sure a touch longer to clean than bare flow coat but the extra grip is 1000 times more valuable.

Some of the new non slip coatings great but they are very expensive in comparison to carpet.

Frozenpod what ure suggest is latest marine carpet which are far superior bcoz i hav the old one is not good,the brand u mention was not on the market way back since i bought new boat 1996 its new to me sure if i knew this i would consider it but im not bother it now ,i would get this when get a new boat later down the track

It has been around for a while as it was factory fitted to our 1986 haines hunter and factory fitted to our 1997 haines signature.

Good on ya mate I have a haines 650 classic and love it as for space you have to be organised when game fishing in any boat
