busy day
Just had 3 mates around for a bit of a working bee on my boat, we are off to bermie 1st of March we did the wheel bearings didnt need new one's just repack them one of the tyres had a bulge in it on the inside and one had bad sidewall splits dropped them off at the tyre joint only $100 each for new ones.one of the brake calipers had a bolt missing and the other bolt missing lucky we picked it up here , restring my outriggers and fitted tag lines. I have been purchasing new lures so we rigged them up platted new doubles and set the drags on the reels.bbq and a beer for lunch many hands make light work.

Re: busy day
always good to be prepared. Can't beat a bbq and beers. What a nice bunch of mates. Are they going with you? Also, are wheel bearings difficult to do? Been thinking about doing mine but don't know where to start.
I will be up there also, what is your boat name? It would be nice to catch up with a fellow member.

Re: busy day
My boats name is "days like this" its a 650 haines classic towed by a white prado.the guys that helped today are the guys on the trip we all work together leave on 1st return on the 11th, we normally just rent a house works out about $160 each .
Re: busy day
Thats a nice name for a boat. Glad you got it all done. Hope to see you there. I'll PM you the boat name I will be on as I dont think it's appropriate to post such a name. :victory: its also a haines 650. Really good boats Imo, only thing that lets it down is they have a small anchor well. But otherwise a great deep sea boat
