I must say that in the last few years , i notice more & more guys rolling up to boat ramps with $50,000 + & right up $180,000 + boats & towing them with Landcruisers etc worth $80,000 + =$200,000 + spent in some cases :o :shock: Has everyone won Tattslotto :? as i cant imagine how else anyone would pay for such items "PPL cant be crazy enough to finance em' @ that sort of $$ value smh " i've owned several boats since 1988 , but never anywhere close to even that expensive , i'd buy another house or land with the $$ being spent on these boats & four wheel drives smh

when a mate and I went out last Saturday from Carrum and saw the 100's of people out in their big boat, we asked the same question, is their alot of wealthy people here or alot of dept. Yes some of it is me being jealous but those big boats cannot go anywhere in the bay my little one can't.... I guess the guys with the little ones always say size doesn't matter..... :lolf:

I am thinking mostly wealthy , as i seriously doubt anyone would put themself into Financial dept for a boat over $70,000 + to $180,000 + thats not a essential item & Considering they could buy another block of land or even a small unit for the same amount $$ , anyway i guess am the poor bloke @ the ramp in his little tinny :dontknow

Funny though, I normally find the blokes with the small boats or gear that is a 100 years old seem to catch just as much fish, and normally aren't up themselves as much and are happy to have a chat.
