Local Tohatsu Dealer?

Post by Rogue_Hunter » Fri Jun 28, 2013 3:03 pm

Hi all,

Looking at replacing my current setup on my tinnie and have been looking at the Tohatsu option.

Their pricing are in the affordable bracket and have not yet heard any bad reviews of them, unless someone can comment.

Has anyone come across a Melbourne dealer, the ones iv seen online are Queensland based.

Im looking at nothing more than 15hp.

I missed out on a nice local Yammy that im still angry at! Bangg

Thanks

My old man has a 18 HP Tohatsu on his boat, I was very impressed with it when I took his boat out all snapper season.
Even towed some dudes in with it.

Mercury/Mariner use the tohatsu (nissan) powerhead on there 2st 15 to 40hp,so there is a lot more of them out on the water than the ones you see with tohatsu on the cowling.
I've got the 25hp mariner motor & its been great.

Sorry Rouge,
I'm not a salesman, just heard that they were doing a good price at the boat show so I waited until then. Still probably worth a phone call

Another vote from me for the outboard workshop linked above. Really nice guys and they took the time to point me in the right direction when I needed a new engine.
