Catch of the year!!

Post by Joker91 » Sat May 25, 2013 4:33 pm

Well yesterday we went out on the boat again like any other day but had an awesome out come. We ended up leaving the water with 60 salmon and 27 flathead. Of course I had the catch of the day with a flathead over 50cm :D , I was absolutely stoked. Never had an experinece like that before, it was amazing!!

You don't think 60 salmon is a bit much to be keeping?

As long as there were 3 people(or more) then there is nothing legally wrong with what they have done.

I for one will keep my bag of 20 salmon as soon as I can, as I have nothing left in the freezer for bait at the moment and I'm also going to try them out in the smoker next time I get a few.

Salmon is a great bait in the last 3 weeks have caught, sharks, pinkys snapper, flathead, parrotfish, and a Melbourne skate. Only thing that doesn't seem to eat salmon is me and other salmon
