sold my boat

Post by Fish-Hunter » Mon Mar 04, 2013 8:24 am

I have owned various boats since i was approx 19yo , i fished from boats for many years with friends , family even before i owned my own .
But for many years i enjoy landbased fishing more than boat fishing , to the point i just dont bother boat fishing anymore , even when invited to fish off other mates boats "i refuse".
The traffic @ boat ramps , costs etc , so i sold my boat & now continue my landbased fishing which i enjoy very much . One good Snapper landbased is better "imo" than 10 off the boat "imo" ;)

excellent decision Miker. I think we should hang out once in a while in the rocky shores. I have yabbies to kill afterwork today. I will drop by for an hour or 2 until I run out of yabbies. I have about 30 left. ;-)

Very Sound Financial decision Miker!!!!

Agree with you .. 1 landbased snapper is much much more rewarding than those caught on a boat. The rate that you're catching these swimming critters since you got back ... reckon you won't miss your boat at all "IMO".

Hope to do a session or two with you to learn all the secrets of the trade .. :lolf:
