Hi all
Long time no post for me
As setting up a business and now running smoothly looks like I mite get the boat out after almost 2 years lol

Had a look over the trailer and found a few concerning spots.

Will be structurally sound if they are braised over or fixed Or too much work and best not fishing for a saving up and replacing trailer?

That looks bad, probably time for a new trailer.

That’s certainly not just surface rust, looks cooked to me. Is the whole frame the same? If not you can cut and splice some new rhs in its place.

It’s possible to cut sections out that are rusty but you’d want to get a decent welder who knows his stuff. I’d run it down to a sheet metal shop or local boiler maker and see what they think. It would probably be a fair bit cheaper than a new trailer.

That’s a lot of money, definitely worth looking at replacing the rusty parts. Cost nothing to drive it to get some advice/prices.

If rusted like that on outside, the inside will most likely be the same.

My trailer looks like that, which is why i ordered a new one.

I ordered a Precision Trailer, like the one Smile posted but smaller. I ordered it back in mid November and i am still waiting. Apparently they have a huge backlog.
