That's the most polite way of saying it's a piece of sh.t that I've ever heard....well done Colblacklab99 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 5:40 pmPhew......
HUGE job ahead ( from experience ).
Anything is do-able, will be a new trailer by the looks as well.
My opinion, if you like it, and will end up using it, prepared to basically fully rebuild it, then have a go.
No money to be made here, even if you discount your labour, there would be better options out there for that.
But, if it suits your needs, once finished, go for it......

For $300, you should have bought this for $500. I am sure you can haggle.

Look, there isn't anything you could really save on it, "a full rebuild" in every context.
Just from what your saying tho Kimtown, you would have preferred a bigger boat to do,,,,
I think that's your answer there in a nut shell !!!
If you have an ideal boat in mind, then wait and get your ideal boat to do...
You can fiddle with this thing as a small project, have a play, fick it off for some sort of profit no doubt,,, even by just cutting everything out
for the next bloke, ready for the main work.
But the time and money and effort to do one from start to finish, you want to be doing one you will keep and be happy to use....
Just my view...

100% a full rebuild, I'm not completely naive to think otherwise lol.blacklab99 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 7:36 pmHaHaHa........Mattblack wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 6:51 pmThat's the most polite way of saying it's a piece of sh.t that I've ever heard....well done Colblacklab99 wrote: ↑Fri Oct 04, 2019 5:40 pmPhew......

I'll think about it. The more criticism the poor girl gets, the more it fuels my desire to prove the doubters wrong It's been sitting in the front yard of a property in Mentone for the last 15 years. I wouldn't wish 15 years in the western suburbs upon my biggest enemy. This baby has done the hard yards and now it deserves some love.
