Anyone have a price for a Lone Star GX1 with all the needed accessories? I'm contemplating banging in one in my boat.

Thanks in advance.

The winch combo kit was $1900 and the elec harness $290 I will install it my self so far I have fitted 5 winches to mine and my mates boat and gave Barra mick a hand with his. I am an engineer by trade so it’s not that hard for me.

I made a start installing my new winch removed it 75 mt of chain .

This is the inside of the cabin the winch has to be fitted lower than the hatch

This is the well winch removed.

This is the well cut out the winch fits through easily I only wanted to remove the minimum. I have drilled the bulkhead next step to install it hopefully I should get some time later in the week.

15681882017580.jpg
Bolted the winch to the bulkhead I didn't want to cut the backing plate so I cut a slot in the shelf
15681883346391.jpg
I had to remove the steering wheel to cut out the dash for the switch panel
15681884146862.jpg
I had to remove the throttle control a speaker and eventually the ignition switch to get the electric cables from the back to up front.
15681885496323.jpg
Drilled another hole for the winch motor wires they were double the size of the original
15681886676304.jpg
Enlisted the help of tuna tube to get the rope on the winch and install the roller.
15681887835016.jpg
All in all I am very happy I did have a few issues I didn't want to cot too much out of my boat so I had to rotate the motor fwd. Then the motor wires lsm say not facing up I couldn't have them facing down or outwards the would touch the hull so I had to have them facing in which I was worried about but they come no where near the anchor rope. The last issue the roller I ended up putting it under the hatch but I had to attach it with the roller installed on the bracket to tighten the bolts I had to cut an Allen key down to get it in between the roller and the bracket awkward but the hatch closes and I didn't have to trim it as well.

Looks great Nude up, just one thing, it may be the pic but hopefully there is no way the rope will chaff on the edge of the bow sprit channel with the roller in that position? The pic might be deceiving for me maybe?

It’s close but it misses by 0.250 I was scared of that so I tied a piece of string from the empty winch spool to the bow spit roller. I moved the roller up and down to unsure the best position prior to drilling , I also moved the roller to the lowest position so I could if the hatch wouldn’t close cut the end of the roller off but at the end it soo worked I could move the roller up but I am to bruised to do it
