Really? How do you figure that?
All things being even, I would have thought a ski having more buoyancy, more acceleration, tighter turning circle and far more mobility all round, combined with the ability to flip it back over in the water by yourself (if things do go wrong) would make it a far safer option when crossing a bar than a boat....?
But I dunno you'd probably know more than me I guess
