Fair call...Lone Star winch again or something different?
One day I'll put a winch on it and most likely another Lone Star, the anchoring arrangement through the front hatch is pretty awkward but for now I'll just use a ball and deploy and retrieve from the cockpit.

My only complaint is all that space and such a baby screen!

Nice boat I will look out for you on the water I will be moving full time to portarlington later in the year or early next so I can spend more time on the water
Thanks, Portarlington sounds like a good plan, the Bellarine's a great place to live -and fish!

Yeah the viewable area does seem small but it's actually the whole unit that's compact, doesn't have all the buttons and card reader on the side like an echomap. I saw a 9xse on display and wasn't really into cutting a hole that big in the dash and forking out another $300!

I went to the Haines Hunter factory in Derrimut today to purchase a propper grp baitboard to replace my flimsy plastic one. The guys there were super helpful and friendly. I had a peek in the fit out area and there were many nice boats getting decked out including a few of their new Southern Formulas

The quality of the board and fittings is very good, can't wait to install it.

Very nice Trumpy :a_goodjob: , and yes I agree, quality is the key , , , , it is our Bait Station, gets used constantly, so it is always best to have the best. Let us know how the install goes, would look a treat.

Um, I notice that there is some bubble wrap , , , , if you aren't going to keep that , , , , my inner child loves popping bubble wrap.

I like bubble wrap pop pop pop.
It's so fun to pop pop pop.
Oh so easy to pop pop pop.
Squeeze in in ya fingers pop pop pop.

You can pop it at home, or pop it when far.
You can pop it while walking, or sitting in the car.
You can pop it like a fart noise, and makes you smile.
And people think it's you, and they run for a mile.

"POP"
:-D
