Re: Need some recommendations
I have both, 130Hp Yamaha 2 stroke on the 520 and 200hp zuk 4 stroke on the 650.
I would not hesitate to have a 2 stroke at the right price for every application except for trolling.

Frozen, just curious, what makes the 600F 'a small 6m boat'?frozenpod wrote:600F is a small 6m boat. They handle and ride well but they are touch small for the size rating.bowl wrote:Something like thus
Also fitted with a 2 stroke (nothing wrong with a 2 stroke IMO) although the OP was pretty clear on wanting a 4 stroke.
I prefer the 575 which has a self draining deck.
For around the 40-45k spend you could get a mid 2000 model 600F that should handle the offshore easily

Re: Need some recommendations
The hulls are fine, they have a smaller useable deck space footprint than most other 6m boats. It suits some but not othersPJ72 wrote:Frozen, just curious, what makes the 600F 'a small 6m boat'?frozenpod wrote:600F is a small 6m boat. Re: Need some recommendations
When a boat is advertised as a 600F that doesn't mean it is exactly 6m in length. For example bar crushers 560 (5.6m boat) was sold as a 560, then 610 and now 615. Yet it is a 5.6m boat.
The 600F and 575F are very similar hulls. Same length with the 600F on paper being slightly (5cm) wider.
The 575F and 600F given how close the specs are might be the same hull with a different top deck.

Thanks for the clarification Cobby and Frozen, didn’t know the 575 had a self draining deck, i might have looked at them a bit more if I had known that
