New fuel tank

Post by Wolly Bugger » Mon Jun 25, 2018 4:33 pm

Finally got the new fuel tank made and fitted. It is aluminium and 105 litre capacity. Which is fortunate as it puts me under having to get a bigger fire extinguisher.

Manged to fill it before the price rise in petrol, and took it for a run and at the weight is more forward than the previous tank and it seems to make the ride and handling a little better.

The big test will be the Apollo Bay tuna comp.

I was looking at larger, but 105 was the largest they could go.

As too economy, I get about 2 ks per litre
