If it is a carby sounds pretty right to me, be a bit more concerned if it was an EFI but 2 strokes as a rule generally are more thirsty then 4 storkes due to them firing in the cylinders twice as many times each stroke as the 4 strokes

It is carby but the economy is terrible using almost twice as much fuel as it should have.

Given the plug lead issue I think it is worth doing another trip with a full tank of fresh fuel BP premium 95.

Ill have to wait till Sumner befor i fill the whole tank up again cos its rear i will run through more then say 20lt a trip

Not too sure why anyone would run premium fuel through there boat unless it’s a high performance race boat complete waste of money boat engines are made for regular fuel not that premium is an issue just not necessary. If you need to run premium fuel to fix any issues with your engine then you got a bigger issues

Cos some engine are.from America amd actually built in factory to run on premium fuel

Read this, shows America’s premium fuel octane, Australia has some of the highest octane premium in the world which is why in most cases it’s not necessary

I was told American premium is closest to our high octone or 95 rated fuel
