I'd like to think I'm pretty quick at launching and retrieving but sometimes my quick hitch latch doesn't hook up properly (it needs calibration/adjusting) and thankfully all the people I've come across are helpful rather than abusive when they see my frustration lol. There is still some good people in the world.

Always be pricks that know the etiquette , but think they can do as they like.

If someone is struggling with boat ,offer assistance /rather then telling them to hurry fook up.
Agreed always happy to spare 5 mins to help someone out if needed.

I reckon 99% of people are good at the ramp and as long as you're polite its reciprocated ....snapper season is a totally different story & I think if you offered someone a pamphlet it could get shoved up your jaxsy

Ideally signage at ramps would be a way to communicate these problems.

A biggie for me is don't launch by yourself if you don't have a spot to tie up the boat on the jetty so you can move your vehicle.

So many times at Rye Boat Ramp when there are no spots on the jetty people have launched on their own and rather than beach the boat and move the car they just wait around off the jetty waiting for a spot, I've seen someone waiting around for 15 minutes whilst a ramp is blocked by a vehicle just waiting for the driver.

I launch on my own and if it's not suitable for beaching and there are no spots at the jetty I will drive around the parking lot until the jetty has eased up a bit.

That's my little rant...
"I only caught one - the rest surrendered"
