Re: Boat ramp etiquette
No point getting pissed at that, as its an easily forgotten step to launching., just ask and most will comply.CarlG wrote:Turn off your f***ing headlights while on the ramp at night.
Jesus that 5hits me.
Cutting in is always an issue when its busy, but no amount of signage will stop that.
Should be a list of item to do at the ramp and a list of item not to do at the ramp to lessen the time on ramp.

Patience.
Always be pricks that know the etiquette , but think they can do as they like.
If someone is struggling with boat ,offer assistance /rather then telling them to hurry fook up.

Re: Boat ramp etiquette
That is so true. Words of wisdom right there. Not every boat is easy to launch and retrieve especially going solo.bowl wrote:Patience.

Society has gone the " Only Me that counts" mentality. Shame that our fishing community is going that way too.
I see someone struggle, a shout out to hang on and wait till I get mine out , then we'll work on yours. Usually another hears that then decides to call to action.
Ramp etiquette.... It aint rocket science.

I did that at the Patto, whilst waiting for my charter, and had my bag that contained my lunch stolen.munroe wrote:That is so true. Words of wisdom right there. Not every boat is easy to launch and retrieve especially going solo.bowl wrote:Patience.
