i have a same sized tank, but 2 stroke 50, so i have to be carefull where i go
Cheers purple, you can always take a small jerry tank along just in case. I had a 40 2stk on a smaller boat and it was a lot thirstier.

yeah thats what i do when i know im going to be driving around a bit, like snapper season etc.
ive learnt the hard way that driving the boat at full throttle all the time means fuel gets used a lot quicker
thing is i bought the boat to do lure fishing in the shallow reefs and such, now im travelling long distances looking for fish hahaha, should have bought that 2 stroke direct injected motor i was also looking at instead of the carby version.
