New Boat Pricing

Post by sturgeon » Fri Dec 01, 2017 11:42 pm

Dear All,

Does anyone know in general how much discount would you be able to get from the advertised price on new boats? What about discounts on options? I am trying to get a sense of how real or fair the prices are. Thanks for any advice.

Really depends on the boat/dealer...usually they just starting throwing in extras.
Sounds like you're buying a new boat, what are you interested in buying?
This thread may help you out a bit...viewtopic.php?f=70&t=18431&hilit=boat+show

What are the options that you would consider important to package in with the boat dealer at time of purchase and what you would do later on your own shopping for better deals elsewhere?

1. Electric anchor winch $3000
2. Dual batteries $600
3. Front side clears $500
4. Transom ladder $550
5. Bait board with snapper rack and rail $350
6. Plumbed live bait well option $600
7. Extra rod holders $50 each
8. Snapper racks $80-200 depending on size
