deck wash options
after a successful trip out last week and getting squid ink on the side of the gunnels i was thinking of putting in a deck wash.
would something like this work?

how does it pick up the water?
what are your thoughts?
cheers ricki

Re: deck wash options
My boat has a through hull pick up, I fitted a deck was to my last boat using the bla stainless pick up cutting a 1” hole in my transom, my first boat had a pump mounted outside the boat it was a bilge pump really used as a source for deck wash and live bait aerator.

Re: deck wash options
Whats better as a deck wash
A live bait pump ?
Or a bilge pump ?
Would you get enoughwater pressure from them?

Re: deck wash options
The biggest difference bilge pumps normally have to be submerged in water there are some that are remote. A deck wash usually has a pick up and shut off
