Needs to be self priming and bilge pumps aren't.
Just be aware that regardless of the manufactures claims the pumps all die. I have tried a bunch of different pumps all lasted at best 2 years.
Even though the impellers are replaceable they are always in perfect condition. The motor fails as the brushes used are super soft and they are not economically viable to fix.
