Broker Marine- insolvency sale

Just noticed brooker marine are having a major sale on Graysonline. Could be interesting for some out there in the hunt for a cheap tinny. Nsw pick up.

Good excuse for a few days away. They look reasonably priced at the moment.

a shame to loose 2 more brands in the market - Brooker & Bluefin, as well as the various distributors who paid to represent them at the various boat shows over winter. Hope someone can buy it out and keep it going.

I just read there might not be enough cash to pay out the workers' entitlements, a bit **** to let things get that bad before pulling the pin imo

That's sad to hear :down: I went through the same thing about 4 years ago & had to claim through Fair Entitlements Guarantee which makes up the difference with what's owing but it is a slow process it took almost 12 months to get our money.

Not only that, it's essentially the business making taxpayers subsidise entitlements they really should be taking care of themselves.
