Jeez it's blowing. Will it make fishing better next week?

On this side of the bay the chop is not large, but, definitely like a washing machine.
Saw only two boats out, both heading for Webb dock.
Three trailers in carpark, they must be up river.

Bad hair day

I walked the length of Gunnamatta but only got a couple of small ones near the stairs. No one else seemed to be catching much either. Wind was a pain in the arse

Yep. Plus a massive bow in the line that had the spool down into the backing mono every second cast

Be a great opportunity to have a crack for a few winter whiting at the southern ends of the bays once the winds back off.

I was in portsea from 330pm till 530pm. Water was as flat as my butt cheeks but only small ones were around. Caught 7. 6 were around 30cm. Biggest was 41cm.

Longest casts i've ever made using 40g lures. Too bad the fish was not in the area.

Just cause its not perfect doesnt mean you cant fish.

Some of you guys really need to realise some people cant fish every day of the week. Just cause its windy doesnt mean its rough if you know what you are doing..
Mate there's a gale warning out. If you go boating in the bay you're a flog.
Have to agree...only a idiot would put there boat in today

some land based ok....but not enjoyable
