Apart for heaps of other safety gear I do this
Wear a Marlin 150 Full jacket all the time fishin. Ive replaced the crappy belt and plastic buckle with a solid web belt with an attachment for lanyards.
I fish a lot alone so I always connect the kill switch and a lanyard tied to the center console -So I carnt go over

Have you got a pic of how the lanyard connects.
I actually never connect mine (flame suit is on) and am looking for something similar to connect my lanyard to
