Yes St Leonard's is good.
How long did it take you ?
Did you motor across to St Leonard's at midnight from Werribee?
Wow good work.
I'd want a radar and mega lights for that, I've seen too many boats with no nav lights for that Ha Ha.
Thanks
Jamie
The Navionics app on the iPhone and some decent lights on the boat and it was no problem at all. Took about 30minutes (Wind was <5knots & near no swell).. - saved me about 1.5hrs on the road round trip..

Mind you it was that record cold night, it felt like i was the only not so smart bloke out there - spent the whole night chasing gummies and sunrise on the ting and cala, don't ask me how i went, haha..

I have a Haines 650 and use Werribee a lot never had a problem when leaving the ramp keep well to the left about 20foot off the jetty then about 30ft off the beach its deeper that side than where the sand spit is remember it's 5knots till you get to the channel markers.
You have plenty of choice turn left head towards point cook turn right towards point Wilson all great squid spots or head over to indented head st Leonard's.
I prefer indented head or Prince George bank then fish my way back to Werribee
