New boat as baby present

My wife said once she got pregnet i could get a new boat.
So i got to upgrade from the quintrex to a trailcraft.
Finally getting around to posting it due being busy sice the baby come along.

Its 2005 trailcraft with 115 johnson 2 stroke.
Self draining deck
120lt under floor tank
New 7 inch lawrance combo
Rocket launcher
6 life jackets
Extended rear canapy
Tandam trailer
Fixed bait board
Duel batteries
Big cabin
High wind screen
Rear door
Ladder


Upgrades so far are
New epirb
New boat catch and release catch
Gunel mounted stainless steel rod holders
New fuse panel
Modified stainless steel rod holders.

Planning on getting outriggers soon

Look at it this way, keep the same rule/deal, have a large family and you'll be in a 40 footer in only 4 or 5 years !!!!!

I used to own a Trailcraft and kind of miss it a bit, it was a solid boat and really stable but the ride was pretty harsh. They didn't come with any foam flotation or even a bilge pump so it would be worth wile looking into it if you haven't already. I was going to stuff mine full of as many pool noodles as possible via the inspection/access ports in the floor but ended up selling it.

If the bilge is sealed why does it need more flotation?
What are the benefits of putting the noodles in there?

Well done mate. Let your mrs know that you are the provider and need to fish every weekend to feed the family

Dont think i could push.my luck to spend more money on another boat if we have a second kid.

Lol love fishing but hardly eat it. The wife only eats it once or twice a year lol ao that not a good enough reason lol
