newbie to the salt

well got talked into going halves in this beast with a mate, its a custom plate hull, ls1 v8 mid mounted with a jet drive, guess now i just have to learn about this boat based fishing be it salt or fresh after too many years stuck on the bank

The LS1 is a GM aluminium small block 5.7 litre V8. In the order of 300HP. In other words, this thing flies. Nice boat.

Best idea I've seen yet ! rod holders built into the hand rails ! more tinnie builders should do this..

hoping to sneak out for a little while tomorrow, as above 5.7litre alloy v8, the impellor in the jet is a little on the small size but sits on 60kmh at a lazy 3500 rpm revving any harder just goes past the jets effiecient working range and you gain little speed for extra revs, but its gets up to speed farkin quick
