Had to drive a van from Geelong-Sydney -Perth -Geelong.
Passed thru Ceduna and met a fisho whom had connected plastic water pipes down both sides of his trailer.He had punchured small holes in them so they could squirt his boat,trailer and brake running gear.He had a hose fitting fitted near his boat winch

Yes I a seen a few like that. The better you wash your trailer the longer it will last
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Agree if I was to buy a galvanised trailer I would but a c section one. Luckily I bought an aluminium one
