Yeah that does look shmick chris. Similar to what I was going to do, as I'm swapping to a fourstroke,
But since mine was at getting the transom and stringers done, I'm getting them to fill in the old holes so
I have a blank canvas, but I do like the look of how you've done yours !

Things to consider are the HDS doesn't come with a transducer or maps and the Garmin is a discontinued model that doesn't come with maps and possibly not a transducer (some links say yes others say no).

Remember you wont be needing your speedo, the sounder has got speed. So you can remove it or sit the sounder over the top.
