Need a fibreglasser

Post by Wolly Bugger » Mon Jan 30, 2017 6:44 pm

My boat has an automatic bilge pump that is not working, it is beyond the reach of normal human arms, so I need an access hatch cut into floor at the back so the bilge pump can be accessed.

I bought a second bilge pump and decided to do a temporary install untill the other one was fixed, wired it up to the switch, turned the switch no joy.

It worked with the other switches, so it looks like the switch is the problem, but then the real problem is that the wiring is in the biggest birds nest I \\have ever seen.

Cable ties like the above are over-rated. You want your wiring neat, but easy to fault find/trace

Reminds me. I need to install my spare bilge pump. I hit the go button on it the other day and nothing happened. Found the pump completely seized.

Agree....you need the wires neat but easy to trace and reolace if you have 2.

The more you want the boat to do...the more wires
