still looking around for a boat and came accross this one
2002 sports cab trail craft 5.6m boat

but cant find any specs online for it especially the weight to see if i can pull it with my car
does anyone know a certain website or have the same to tell me the hull weight please

It will be light and easy to tow with your car.

According to the trailer plate (as best as I can see) the gross weight is about 1900kg. So under 2 tonnes. Looks like a nice package but a bit on the pricey side for its age and setup in my opinion. If you can get him down at least $5000 then you might be right.

That is the maximum trailer rating and it is a generic trailer. The trailer could be supporting a slightly larger glass boat which could be 400kg heavier.

The gross weight is the trailer plus the total weight of the loaded up boat. It's usually the max the axles can handle, at least no more than that. I was only pointing out that it's no more than 2 tonne as a tow weight (if legal). I don't know what the actual weight is but I have a similar sized boat ( 5.45 plate alli) and trailer and fully loaded it can weigh just over 1.7tonne. (1.8 when the esky is full of beer) I think OP is the same guy towing with a station wagon from a previous post I replied to, if his tow capacity is 2.3 tonne (I think) then he should be fine.

My tow capacity is 2.1 ton so looking for a boat under the 1.5 ton mark so when the boat and car is loaded up with stuff for bermagui trip the car isnt over loaded.
Normally 4 ppl for bermagui trip so it add over 400kg of gear and people weight.
