That link above provides some good info. I personally try to keep my tank full and if in storage (rarely any more than 6 weeks) add in a fuel conditioner like stabil. If I were you, I would see how the motor runs at home first on the fuel you have, if it starts and runs ok (on the muffs of course) then I'd just fill the rest of the tank up with premium and go fishing. I run a merc 4 stroke, i have 150 litre tank, every second fill I use premium unleaded, I have a water separator, I never use E10.

Else, as others have said, pour it into your car or lawn mower and get fresh fuel. Works well if you only have 10 litres or so, not so great when you have 140 litres left over.

Ive been told the lower the octane fuel (the cheaper fuel) lasts longer than the expensive high octane premium stuff. Ive used petrol that was a couple of years old in the mower before....it ran pretty rough though.

Ive got some fuel in my tank still from a few months ago. Ill have to drain it.

Does anyone know where to dispose off stale fuel?
At the end of each trip put it into your car if your not going to use your boat for a while
That won't work if its pre mixed already

Won't hurt it, unless you try and put 2stroke into a diesel :super:
