Park further up opposite the Caltex servo and trolley the yak south along the verge next to the highway ,then hang a right along a short sand track which will take you over the boardwalk and onto the beach. Fairly easy with a lighter yak and trolley but coming back up the sand when its just been cleaned and sifted by the council can be interesting. Wiouldnt want to bet on the ramp being ready by October considering Frankston Council has a hand in it.

That track near the tennis courts is a longer soft sand track to the beach but parking is limited there. Another good option is park at the pier and trolley down to either side of the pier, where there are short concrete landings onto the sand to the water. In all of these options you wont be competing with boaties at the ramp.

Cheers. Probably too many people at the pier for my liking. I might stick to the beach launches.
