There pretty good just dyna bolt the posts or concrete them in, once that's done a couple of hours should see it finished .My only concern would be exposure to high wind as they do look abit flimsy.

Need a permit ???? maybe not, as it's freestanding.
I don't remember needing a permit for my 3 x 3 shed, but the council came out to check the footings. (high wind area).

Permit usually only needed for 10 square meters and above. but check with your council first.

Theres a massive garage shed going for free in my local area, might be worth looking into, but needs to be dismantled by buyer
its hugeeeeeee though.

Found this link in regards to wind rating might be good to ask Bunnings what wind rating the carports come with and go from there.

I wish...got a local company with about 5 blokes to do it....good price.....they will come back when I need more concrete for boat in few months time...to big of job fie one bloke...
