wires under boat

Post by barra mick » Sun Aug 14, 2016 3:53 pm

Im nearly finished the wires under the boat

Im not happy how they just sit there along the bottom off boat.you can see in the picture with my barra rod (before a shark smashed my lure and silly me thought I could land him)

the wires lay as the rod sits across the floor.i put two access ports in now.i should off done it at the start.

im considering calble tieing and taping the wires together or placing them in two lots of conduit ( spelt wrong)

Or maybe placing foam under them and cable ties and lightly taped.

Any other ideas ??

Cheers bm

Put them in those split loom tubes. Then use conduit holders under the floor to hold them in place. That's way they won't touch the bottom floor and get wet.

go to a elec suppliers and get some aussie duct its a plastic duct with a removeable lid in various sizes. with the removeavle lids makes it heads easy if u ever need to add or replace cables n protect cables from rubbing
