new lights

hi to all, i just purchased 2 x 55w halogen docking/driving lights for our boat, would 10amp wire be ok or will i need 15amp ?????

10 amp will be fine, if you are running wires to each light. If you are going to run the 2 lights off the same wire then step up to 15amp

You've probably already wired the lights in, but peice of mind...

You'll be drawing 4.58 amps from each light. Just make sure your battery/s are in good order.

Calculated...

Amps = Watts divided by Volts
Volts = Watts divided by Amps
Watts = Volts times Amps
Early to bed, Early to rise, Fish all day, Tell big lies
