I remember it was free only a few years ago.

I don't mind paying fees if they spending money on upgrading ramp,toilets ,bait table etc they have done lot of work of new walk ways that start from the pier and around the general area.
Not sure we're that money come from , hope it's not ramp fees.
Maybe should start charging people to fish piers, people always want piers upgraded and new piers built , money gotta come from somewhere. :-o

yeah I can for 90$ cause I'm a resident.but since all early season snapper are at top end of bay I will still be -16$ or so to launch altona , willy st Kilda.
