I have got the same boat, 399 stacer proline, mainly use it to chase squid, fish over corinella way. If you fish off werribee, try around the green markers outside the entrance to the left, good whiting to be on occasions. We love to fish around the moored boats off sorrento, plenty of protection unless a westerly. Then I take my haines. But a tinny like yours you can fish lots of places on the right day, off olivers hill, mornington, off warneet tooradin channel. I just fitted the lowrance sounder and structure scan on mine, hopefully increase my catches up at eildon shortly!!
You know when they have a fishing show on TV? They catch the fish and then let it go. They don't want to eat the fish, they just want to make it late for something.

Werribee , Pt Wilson , Geelong inner harbour all will offer you plenty of areas to catch a feed .
