Did they extend the pier at all or is the same as the previous one?

They've shortened it :down: :sad: :angryfire: :cussing: :protest: Apparently the end section is now unsafe to the public and they don't have the funds to repair it at this stage.

brett - yeah i think the rocks might free up abit ... i havnt been down that way in along time.. i cant wait to get back down there

The fish are starting to show, saw some BIG gars caught today, got a few salmon on lures yesterday, couple of squid, a few whiting and leather jackets plus the snapper the other night. It will only get better as the weather warms.

Went and had a look today, and sure enough they shortened the pier. A few were fishing don't know if anything was caught.

So i was in mornington to enjoy the day on a hired boat today and saw the pier.. its cut in half =/
