Would a king take a dirty old wrasse? Good shark bait I know... but kingies tend to be a little more fussy and finicky than most sharks...

I've never caught one like this but do use them for liveys if nothing else is available and my squid strips are being pushed back into the ledge. They kick around a bit but almost anything else is better.

Fried they went a bit mushy, steamed they were pretty good though. They don't keep too well in my experience so I'd only keep one or two for the next two nights dinner, no point muderboxing your bag limit for the sake of it with them.
