Lagoons little secret is at the point the pier bends stay away. Before the bend is okay and after the bend is great. Most big snapper are caught between the end and just before the bend. You will notice when the pier is packed the only free space is on the bend because that's were the snags are. You might still get snagged elsewhere but no very often. Have fished that pier heaps of times and all over it except the bend and only lost on very small amounts of tackle. Good luck if you go again. :thumbsup: Another tip get there early to get the best spot and i mean early...maybe from the day before :lolf:

also at the end of the pier, facing right of it. There are snags. But once i was hypo:P so i casted directly into those snags and felt my line in the snag, and pulled out a big flathead :D.

Tryed it again, but got snagged and riped my line
