Go the end of the breakwater and cast about 20/30 metres out at most to the right. Around 2 o'clock is a useful direction. Have got whiting, flatties, leathers and gars from there. Rising tide early morning or evening best time. Sandworms, prawns are good bait.

Another tip Reefy, Sinker & Rig hungry spots.

When casting and trying to "set" the line with the sinker "grabbing bottom" , , , , don't have your line tight, have it a little slack. It may be a little harder to see little bites BUT the bites that matter are going to be noticed.

When retrieving, do it fast and don't stop, to keep the rigs on the surface.

And as Seb says PLUS, when about to retrieve lift the rod high and at the same time retrieve fast , , , , so fast that the other Fisherman are going to say "Oooow, that's fast" :-D

Awesome, I will go down to that spot next week then! Im fishing land-based but hopefully I can find the squid there and not loose too many jigs, I can only fish during the day so hopefully they show up before the evenings :gj:
