A mate of mine was wondering where the spot on this video is.

Not sure myself but thought I would throw it out there.
If any of the landbased guys have fished it.

No idea on location as I’m not even close to local.
But why the Fark wouldn’t you throw the port Jacksons back straight away instead of leaving them to flap around on the rocks in a net!

Hi Guys.
That's not Flinders, it's No16 which is accessed off Tasman Drive (a continuation of Browns Rd). Put No16 Beach Rye into Google-maps & it will come up. Head along the beach towards Portsea & you will find the rock platforms, try low tide when there is not too much swell around.
I don't know why they keep the Port Jacksons, maybe they let them go when they are finished fishing, or maybe they eat them, I reckon you would have to be desperate.
Cheers.
Ango.

The Port Jacksons were thrown back at the end of the video, but that was crap handling of fish that were to be released.

Not quite.

I wont' give up the exact location because I've never actually been there but still managed to find it on google maps in less than 60 seconds.

Any video with a headland in the background that shows the shape of the rocks is easily identifiable.

Check out 2:24. The guy's reel has been lying in a pool of salt water.
