Karkarook lake

Post by Crummy Angler » Wed Apr 18, 2018 6:35 pm

Has anyone tried fishing the little grassy area that flows just under the footbridge?

There is a lot of reeds, ducks and bugs. Looks really productive and shallow but very few people have given that spot a go. It looks like a great area to practice with the fly rod too.

Honesty you're better off casting at the little splashes the trout make, using a soft plastic or a spinner. I wouldn't recommend using flies there due to the number of young kids/old grandpas
