Even further! One time I was walking over the Yarra on chapel street bridge and below there was a guy in a kayak putting a carp out of its misery
Further down stream still, know of some caught/sighted as far in as the docks.

wow, what a great article. If i lived that far up the yarra, i would be targeting trout. Good to see the guy hitting up the carp and good to see that he clearly enjoys it.

if you hit up Albert Park lake on the school holidays, you can catch stocked trout too. Plus the odd redfin and carp.
